Your kitchen journey starts with a personal consultation, either at our Newlyn showroom or in your own home, wherever suits you best. We talk through how you live, cook, and use the space day to day: whether you're renovating a period cottage in Penzance, extending a family home near Truro, or starting from scratch on a new build. Every kitchen project is different, and we want to understand how you will use yours before we draw a single line. If it's easier to start remotely, our online project form is a quick way to tell us what you're after before we meet.
Drawing on influences from Japan, Scandinavia and the UK, our design team creates a layout that's as practical as it is beautiful. Because we build entirely bespoke, we're not restricted to standard carcass sizes: awkward alcoves, sloped ceilings and period features become part of the design rather than problems to work around.
Once your design is agreed, you'll handle real samples of every material and finish before anything is made. From door colours and worktop material, to hardware and handles. Our showroom carries premium brands including Quooker, Silestone, Caesarstone, Dekton, Fisher and Paykel, Blanco, Blum hardware, alongside natural stones and veneers sourced from around the world, so you can compare finishes side by side rather than choosing from a swatch card.
Once the design and materials are approved, we begin building your kitchen. Cabinets are made to your exact dimensions rather than adapted from stock sizes, with British craftsmanship and construction quality built in at every stage. It's a slower, more considered process than mass manufacture, and it's why a Meadows kitchen is built to be lived in for decades, not years. Our lead times are between 6-10 weeks, depending on final material choices.
Our own installation team, which, depending on the scale of project, can include Gas Safe registered plumbers and NICEIC-approved electricians, fits every component with care for your home throughout, from first fix to final snag. Once your kitchen is complete, you'll receive a full handover pack covering maintenance, warranties, and care for your specific materials. If anything needs adjusting as materials settle into your home, we come back and put it right.
